Greetings,
My old Nokia 8390 is dying and I'm wanting to get a newer Motorola SLVR L7 phone. It is my understanding that I can take my SIM card out of my Nokia and put it in a SLVR and have it all work? My only problem is I got my Nokia from AT&T back in 2002 and now it's Cingular. Has anyone done this that could comment on what I would have to do to get it all running?
Thanks,
Rusty

Yes, you can use your old sim, but ATT highly recommends that you use the newer sim cards to ensure the best quality and security.

I borrowed a friends SLVR phone and put my SIM into it and got a prompt to enter some network code. So it doesn't look like my ATT SIM card will work in a SLVR phone locked to Cingular or I would have to unlock the phone first. Does anyone know if any features will be lost by doing this?
