Im new to the forums but have been readying for the past 2 hours.
I seem to have a few problems with my phone. First of all, i have a Samsung d900.
Problem #1:

I cannot type the samsung codes such as *#9999* and others to find any special features, but one that works is *#06* for the IME. Thats about it!
Problem #2:
----------------
Second of all, i attach my mobile to the PC via USB, and it charges, and i here the beep saying 'yes its plugged in' but my PC Studio 3 does not recognise the USB been plugged in. I left it running for over 500seconds and kept turning the mobile off and on and playing aroudn with it. But still, i cannot get my mobile to PC via USB cable. (and yes i bought the phone new in a box)
It works via Bluetooth though. Even though when i try to create a folder via the PC though bluetooth, i get 'wrong permission errors' but thats fine, i can still make folders via mobile, and transfer things over via bluetooth but its slow. Whats up with my USB?!
Problem #3:

I have a 1gig mem stick and i put TOMTOM on it for satellite navigation which is supported. But i cannot execute the .CAB file. I get 'Unsupported File Format'. I get the same error with .EXE files. How do i fix this so i can run the .CAB?!
Problem #4:

What is the latest firmware for the d900? I have downloaded

but not sure if that is what i am after. And i have also read

but is it still current? July 2006? And it sends me to megaupload.com which wont allow me to download anything and queues me and so forth. Where else can i get the latest firmware? Hopefully that will fix everything anyway.
Anyone else have issues like i did? Let me know how you accomplished them! Cheers for the help all.

Some codes work on earlier models like *#9999#
Problem:2
First run PC Studio and then connect usb cable to the computer. Then PC studio will easily detect your phone

didnt work still. i plugged it into all the usb ports in PC and on other PCs and tried starting PC Studio first, and still undetected, but charges still!
