I am looking at getting a sidekick 3 to use in the US. If i get a voice plan with the data plan for the use in the US can I take it to sweden and buy a prepaid sim card from sweden can I put it in the Sidekick and use it there?

No, the phone can't be unlocked so therefore a sim not from tmobile will not work. You could spend time roaming on another network in europe though without a problem.

Wow, A simple no would have been enough. What kind of website is this anyways? One to find answers to questions you might have or to be ridiculed when you ask a question. Get a life bcagle3

Thank you for your help, That was a civilized response unlike the first one.

I have never met anyone that is so rude as the bcagle3.

I understand where bcagle3 came from on his response. If you knew how many times people on this forum answered a sidekick unlock question you may be able to see where his response came from.

well he might have been able to see that was my first post and I have no clue about how many times a question was asked about "unlocking a sidekick" So a little humility goes a long way. Don't assume
