Does anyone know of a way to put ringtones on to it either through like text message or throught the memory slot?

FORMAT your audio file into MIDI. you can do this through free 3rd party softwares like BitPim, etc.
Then attach the converted audio file to an email and send it to your multi-media text capable phone by using your multimedia text address. your/mobile/number@vzwpix.com
It won't work using your text email address (1234567890@vtext.com) because this is only gonna send a short msg (SMS) message.
after you get this message, comes in like a text, you can choose "options" at the bottom of the screen and "save the sound", some phones even say "save as ringtone".
