I've tried *2767*3855# but my X600 still tells me "preview error". what can I do else?

Question1) Is there anyway to get the default text input mode (e.g. for SMS) to be in ABC mode instead of T9 mode???
Aside:
My wife has almost the EAXT same phone and her's IS on ABC mode as default. Her phone is:
SGH-E700A
PE700.05
E70ADZDE1
Question 2:
What IS the lastest firmware for my phone (SGH-E700) if I only need English (it can have a 2nd language. Currently mine has Thai) or is my firmware relatively "new" (SGH-E700 PE700.05 E70DCWL2). Just bought the phone in Bangkok.

my friend just gave me his phone because he got a new one and i wanted to know how to unlock it he forgot the code to it.the phone model is sch-a760. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO IF YOU KNOW CAN YOU TELL ME

I know manny Java midlets that do a connection via the internet as in MSN or Telnet and even remote desktop, but how can i activate my gps when i wand to?
i can only activate in on the browser???? is there a way? maybe via a *# Code???
