My Sony Ericsson T290 was stolen last week and now I have to resort to my older Samsung E105 from T-Mobile 6yrs. ago. I now live in Canada with Rogers as my provider. I'm not quite adept to all these helpful codes whom people are kind enough to provide. Can anyone please explain to me how this whole unlocking/hacking works? I don't mean to sound like a noob but I'm just being honest. I don't want to buy a new cell phone when I'm better off saving for gasoline prices of today. I'm trying to work on my E105 and I'm not getting anywhere since I don't know the steps. If anyone could please explain them to me, I would very much appreciate.
