This 'How-To' posting is excellent, so many codes to choose from, but I'm still having problems. I've unlocked an E700 that was locked to T-Mobile in the UK. It will now work with some providers SIMs but not others. Sometimes with o2 it will give a full signal but says 'Limited service' then other times it will work correctly!!!!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thank You
I had the same with one e700 i got from a m8 he did not pay his bill and the phone was not working on some sp ur only way is to get a new IMEI that what i had to do and it worked ok after that

I have a S500 and when i put in the disable network lock, it says wrong password. Does anyone have any idea how to find out the password that's on my phone?

Hi all,
Its great thet everyone can supply what the codes are, but they are no use if no one explains how to enter these codes. I noticed a number of people have asked the same questions but no one seems to be replying.
I have tried typing the code and pressing call - get operations ended by network
I have tried typing the code and pressing exit - nothing
I have tried typing the code and pressing save - just asks you save it as a normal number.
I have tried typing the code and pressing end call - nothing
Please explain in detail what the steps are to enter these codes or please supply a link that has this info...
Any help greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Fotski

Hi
Don't forget the * and # symbols. If you input a correct code, when the final # is inputted it should respond. I've done most of the codes listed on the start of this post with the SIM inserted. I have also noticed that there is NO limit as to the amount of unlock codes you can input, unlike the Nokia 5 limit. I'm using an E700.

Unlocked my V200 from Orange using 5 unlock codes posted on this site - worked fine - now on T Mobile!
Problem now is that it autoanswers when flipped open, which is annoying. I think that I have inadvertently activated this function (through the unlock codes) and cannot deactivate it through the menu. Can anyone suggest a code to sort this problem??

I wonder if I need the original SIM card with the phone when I unlock the phone?
Do these codes work without SIM card ?

Irealy like my mobile but I`m realy irritated of one thing. When I make diferent melody for every group in the phone book I`m limited in my choice only in default melodies. Can you giwe me some advices? I think I need some software that will give me full control on my phone and may be then will be able to upload melodies in default folder and to use them in diferent groups.I`m useing USB cable with Easy Studio file manager.
