COMMENTS REGARD BB5 PHONES ON THIS FORUM ARE WRONG!
MOST BB5 PHONES CAN BE UNLOCKED USING DEJAN UNLOCKER & DKU-5 CABLE.

I don't understand why your message came to me as reply to my posting? From THIS thread I gathered that a Nokia 8390 is not a BB5 phone! Am I wrong or where the problem is ? The fact that I quoted a message with a list of BB5 phones which was not listing the one I am inquiring about? Sorry for offending you with that! I removed it to make you happy.

Hi, a relative gave me her nokia 6170b ( type rm-48 ) and I need to unlock it.
It's IMEI is 355658001048202
Is there any software (like the ones in motorola v3) to unlock the locking level of the phone?
Can anyone help me?
Pleaseeeeee I'm desperated!

Does it mean that the code I bought for one Nokia 8390 phone will not work with the second one even though they are on the same plan?

That's correct. www.unlocknokia.us for Nokia unlock codes.
