i got an unlocked nokia 5300 and i want to know the settings for aim on my phone. i got the multimedia to work but now the aim isnt working. what would i type in all the blanks for it to work, i also have cingular for service provider.

I just purchased a Nokia e62 off ebay, and it was listed as unlocked. I received it and the screen says "smart chip invalid". I am trying to use this on Fido in canada. This was soposed to be unlocked. No response from seller. How do i unlock it? IMEI: 357951005101202

Confession: I messed around some with this phone when I saw "code restriction" so maybe I've "closed the window" on unlocking this phone?
IF YES, I can return it within 12 days for refund, and I will.
(I had a quad-band phone but it fell in the toilet in Russia a couple of months ago and could not be saved. --But I did save the SIM card. And I bought a Nokia 1110 which works only outside the US area.)
