i just got a new kg300 and ive installed few java games into it.but they lag alot.they dont run smoothly.i mean it feels as if ur running a heavy graphics game in a weak computer. they problem is not just with the games i put in.the problem exists even with the built it games.! is there a problem with my phone.? its brand new.but still i have doubts.need help!

It is possible that the hardware in the phone is faulty. Also, try removing all of the added games and see if that helps. I had a similar problem where I had a lot of ringtones and my phone took 5 minutes to start. I removed some of them and it went back to normal. If it has always been like this, then take it back to the store you bought it in and ask for assistance from them.

hey Starwarsfan, thnx for the advice.well i tried emptying my memory card as well as my phone memory.but havent tried to remove java apps and games.but anyways i havent got much apps and games installed.they are just about 5 or 6 of them.any ways i'll try to remove them to. but ive noticed that few games work smoothly while the majority of others lag alot.does this mean that there might be sum other problem?
also, can u help me find games that might work with full screen on kg300 (240X320 pixel).i found few but they have button problems.cant go any further than the main menu.

The fact that some games run smoothly while others don't could mean a incompatibility with the games that lag. Out of curiosity, are the games that lag the ones that you got off the internet?

yea i got them from the net, but again, anything wrong with the game wont have allowed it to run smoothly on my frend's cell phone aswell. anyways if the problem is with the compatibility, then i need some help with judging which game would run on my cell or not. maybe it has to do with the JAVA MIDP VERSION thingy, i dont really know what these versions represent but maybe it may help me. so can u plz explain me abt this MIDP thing. And also, i wanted to know that does it make any difference if i install the game using just the .jar file, not the .jad file aswell?

I am not quite sure what the MIDP version is. But you should use the JAD file to install the java game.
If the games it came with run slow, then it is a hardware issue. If that is the case, take it to the store and have the reps look at it.

Dear Sir,
I have recently purchased an LG KG300 set. I foud it great. I want to ask that is there any need to activate the java applicatio from a service point. and How can i install any java game in my set. Moreover please tell me any website from where i can download free java games for my phone.
I will be very thankfull to you.

yaar how did you install the files i tried alot with the '.jar' and '.jad' files but couldn't make it
tell me how did u install the games?
whenever I've added any of the .jar or .jad files my KG300 does not recognize the file format
plz help!
