in the att news release ( http://att.centralcast.net/cingularnewsarchive/Release.aspx?ID=4200 )
there is no mention of exclusivity term internally the word was 6 months.
but here
http://att.centralcast.net/cingularnewsarchive/Release.aspx?ID=4218
it does say multi year as the EXCLUSIVE US CARRIER

Well, I will try to cite the exclusivness.
Regardless, at&t has it for a long time.

hey guys, dont worry about it, even if the iphone do come out for tmobile, just get an sk3 instead cause the data in iphone would be more expensive lol, and it only cost 20 for the sk3, and it's only a 2G anyways, it's not even an EDGE like the sk3

T-Mobile doesn't really need the iphone anyway. That phone supports MAC which is fine if you are a MAC user. But basically their Nokia 5300 is the t-mobile answer to the iPhone. Reviews on this phone have been great! Leaves a little to be desired on the talk time, but otherwise a great phone and supports Windows for syncing or downloading MP3. Also supports 5 other formats. I own the 5300 and have been very happy with it. The package comes with everything to hook up to mini speakers, bluetooth stereo headsets and even a car jack and data cord. Inexpensive too. Just my opinion.

The 5300 is almost a good answer to the iphone, but the 5300 lacks an internet browser (a real browser, not wap), touch screen, email program and so on. Only a pda can compete with this phone.
