My texting worked for a year on my razr but recently it just stopped working. I can recieve texts but I cannot send texts using t9 or my phone will freeze up for 30 seconds and go back to the main screen. I can sometimes send one or two word texts using abc2. I don't know what i should do to fix this problem because texting is basically my means of communication. Advice?

Also is it possible to save pictures, downloaded ring tones, and downloaded games on the SIM? I was going to do the master clear on my phone to try to fix my text problem but I'm afraid of losing my pics and downloaded material. I was able to save all my #'s on SIM.but what about the other stuff?

PLEASE HELP ME! icon_sick.gif

Sounds like a firmware problem. Try to get it flashed with updated firmware.

As of now you can not save ringtones and/or games on the sim card. This however is suppose to change in the future making GSM carriers more appealing.

Hi i have a motorola razr for tmobile with a sim card and a family plan. i was just wondering if i bought a sidekick of ebay by itself. and i used my prexisting sim card from my razr will i still have to pay the 1 dollar a day for texting. or can i just use the plan for texting i have for my razr i believe i pay like $5.00 for 400 messages. which is enough of me. i want to purchase the sidekick just to text but i dont want to pay $30 a month because i am not intrested in emailing or internet access. THANKS

I would suggest not buying a sidekick if your only wanting it for the key pad. instead buy a moto a630 or a nokia 6800.
