I just got a new 8525 with new service from AT&T and I am going to add that to my existing family plan. I have a spare phone I got from cingular. Can I sell my 8525 and use my old phone. I am not terminating the contract but just not using the phone i got with the offer. does AT&T care if i sell it.
Also the old phone I have is a normal nokia. my new sim card that came with my 8525 is 3G compatible. will this sim work in my old phone. I know you cannot use 3g with old sim card even though your phone is 3g capable but is the other way possible?
thanks guys

and yes, you can sell the 8525 with no problem. Just because you get a phone with a new contract doesn't mean you have to use it

when selling my 8525 do i have to activate the phone with AT&T and then sell it or just sell it and the person buying it will do it.
i have already activated my new line just not the new device.

the phone itself doesn't need to be activated. GSM phones are strictly pop in your SIM and go.

I suggest one good option either than selling, go for phone recycling. Do you know that recycling your old mobile phone is for environment. Give a new life to your next generation through saving environment.
