I know with Sprint/Cingular/Verizon you can get free text messaging or other perks after being a customer for a number of years. I've been a customer with T-Mobile for 7 years now and they have never offered me anything. I an currently 4 months into another 2 year contract with them. Does anyone have any perks with them, or know if it is possible to get perks with them?

I was never given any perks other than being allowed to keep my plan which is a really good plan

I've gotten "loyalty minutes" which are free whenever minutes over the total on my plan. I never asked for them, they just appeared on my bill after I'd been a customer for several years. I don't remember when we first signed up for T-Mobile, but I can tell you the company was Voicestream back then.

It is possible we get the minutes because we signed up to have the bill paid automatically every month by credit card. That may count more to them than being a long-time customer.

It may be tough to recieve "perks" from T-Mobile. They keep the rate plans cheap by charging small fee's for things like texting. Also keep in mind now T-Mobile Cust service will charge 5.00 for making a payment, but paying FC, the IVR and online @T-mobile.com are still free. Also check out the new hotspot at home
