when you are in your gallery and you have picked out a pic, you will select to send it.
It will then take you to a screen to put in the mobile number you are going to send the picture to, this is automatically set to put in numerals. Instead, to change the format to ABC, you can press your * key. you will see somewhere on the screen that the format goes from 123, to abc, to ABC, etc. pick either of the abc and type the email address up. you will have to hit the digits multiple times to put in the letters, just like when you are adding a contact and you have to spell the name out.
If you have verizon, you can also choose to send to Pix place, which will pop up as a choice when you select (from your gallery) that you want to send the picture. Pixplace is your free, online photo gallery where you can send your pictures to be stored. Select to send it here and it will send immediately, without having to type and address.
You can go to vzwpix.com to retrieve your pictures, and you can send pictures from here @ no cost to your account! So send them to pixplace one time for $0.25, and then send them to others from pixplace as many times as you like for free! (it will still cost the recipient)
If you've never visited the site, please register your phone number first and all of your pictures that you've sent will be there waiting for you!
hope this helps!

Create a free email account on AOL? Send to that?
Just a thought.

Yes, you can right click and save the file that way. When you are texting, you have the option to change the type format (with the * symbol, this is a shortcut) there is also a menu accessed on the phone (perhaps with the left or right softkey) and when that menu is pulled up, SYMBOL should be an option. In symbol mode you can find your underscore, just for future reference.

Why not just send a text message from your email to your phone, then save the contact info ?
