I am looking for a new phone as mine recently broke. I would like to purchase a phone for verizon that includes a mp3 player. I understand with a 2 GB MicroSD I could hold near upwards of 500 Songs. I am wondering which Verizon phone offers the best music quality and I suppose easy to access the music player and good music quality.

When you say quality, what do you mean exactly? This isn't like a bose stereo and it really depends on the ear phones you get with your phone.
The EnV is one of the few phones that will support the 2G, not all the mp3 phones can. It also has pretty good speakers without the earphones. I'll look more into which phones carry the 2G so that way you'll have a choice.
What else do you need your phone to do? How about price?
More specifics might help us pick a phone that is right for you rather than us picking a phone that is right for us. also you can check out live phones @ the Verizon store, stick your memory card in and test the music out yourself. Or you can test out some songs they should already have in the phones. Try to send text and short calls out on them too and see what works best for you.

Cost is not an issue, All I need it to do is play music and receive calls.

I am by no means a VZW expert (I do customer care for Cingular). but from what you described as your needs. LG enV.this at least **may** spark some opinions for you
