I didn't mind the t-mobile on the screen or the t-mobile ringtone . it was not being about to send/rec multimedia texts that bothered me. But I fixed it without flashing the phone . if you are interested . I can post that info.

how can i do this?

okay . back from vacation and posting how I got my t-mobile phone to send/rec multimedia messages on the cingular network

there were three things that I programmed into the phone . two browser setups and one message setup . please follow the directions exactly

First:
click menu
choose webaccess
choose websessions
--there should be two listed under here (MEdia Net and MMS Session), if there are none choose new entry
--if they are there be sure that the settings match what I have listed below
--if there are others listed . you can leave them . they won't interfere with the following settings or once you know that the below settings work you could delete the others

MEdia Net:

click done

MMS Session:

click done

okay . now that they are setup correctly on the web session screen --> select MEdia Net and click the menu . choose Set Default

exit and go back to the main screen

okay . now for the message setup:

click the menu
choose messages
click the menu
choose message setup
click change
choose Server Info:
[you may have to set this area up or you may have one already listed . mine is named MMS]
click menu . choose new or edit based on your current settings

Service Name: MMS
Server Name: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Web Session Name: MMS Session
choose done

That's it . it should work now . I have setup two different t-mobile razor phones with these settings and each one works. I am by no means an expert . I came across all of this info on various websites and pieced it all together. Good luck!
