I need to know where to go to set how long the phone rings before kicking whoever's calling to voicemail, right now it's set to 4 rings which barely gives me time to answer it before it cuts them off.

There is no setting to do this with Nextel phones. After the 4-5 rings the call is forwarded to Nextel's voicemail server. I have recommended to other customers of mine to call Nextel and see if it was possible to change that on their end, but no one has come back to tell me whether it was possible or not. Sprint Nextel's Customer Care line is 1 800 639 6111.
