people need to trust and obey, att changed their name sure but if you're dropping every call chances are others are having worse problems and calling in 24/7. ATT doesnt just turn a blind eye, they WILL do something. and you dont need a explanation though it was a brillant one, you just need to have faith. which this business is based on largely |
Speak for yourself, I lived in my home over 30 years and had AT&T 25 of those because there was no other phone company. I had insurance on my lines all of those years and when my home phones started acting up and I reported it,they had me sitting here, or someone I had to come in to wait for them.NOT to show up. I was constantly calling and complaining and they had the nerve to try to get me to go outside and open THEIR box so they could tell ME how to fix it. That's what they get paid for. Then claimed they had no orders in their system to send any one out. .On more than one occassion?
When I went after them legally they tried to pay me back in long distance minutes.HELLL NO! Then they tried offering me 6 months free home service after I got rid of them.Hell no, those same wires are still in the house useless and dead! I want every cent of my insurance money back! They didn't think about the reference numbers I still had from the times I called in those orders for the phone lines when they lied and said they had no orders. They depend on "blind faith" and people not having the time to deal with them and their games. All they care about is getting into your pocket and keeping you out of theirs. So AT&T can save that "valued customer" crap. They DO turn a blind eye and they DO NOT always take care of the problem. If they can't get you to do their job for them you're *@#$! out of luck!

Hi Kimba, yes I read it and I was told to leave my phone off to get the updates. Which is something I did anyway every evening. Didn't get any better, just worse. | Zet26 - Actually, I was referring to Steva11's 8/31, 9:16 a.m. post pertaing to AT&T re-branding alpha tag campaign. Interesting information - check it out.
After reading that, I'm pretty sure that was the reason I was experiencing my problems; however, no one told me about it. Had I known, I would have "stuck it out" instead of switching carriers. Oh well . service with T-Mobile so far has been fine.

Yes I understood that. I wasn't given as much detailed info about the alpha tags, but was told when to make sure my phone was off to be sure to get the update for my "upgraded"cell phone which is still under AT&T. It did not get better. I had them for home, internet service and now cell phone because I had cingular which became AT&T. I use Tracfone because the service with AT&T is so bad.

No,they don't. |
hate to burst your bubble. but tracfone is a reseller.they rent time on the att network and resell it as their own
take your sim number and do a search here.
http://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis&sub=simnr
it will show you the NETWORK that sim belongs to. I'm willing to bet your sim starts with 8901 or 8931

Been there done that. I had someone check it out and AT&T has nothing to do with them. I couldn't afford the constant dropped calls and over all bad service I have experienced with AT&T not to have it checked out.

Number1.) The someone is my business
Number2.) Do you really think I'm going give you any numbers just to prove something I already know? If you love AT&T so much, that's fine. Maybe they work for you but they don't for me and several others, never have.
So beleive me or not,I really don't care. I made sure I would NOT be dealing with AT&T and I didn't have to go through Tracfone to find that out. It was because I found that out, that I chose Tracfone. So if you're trying to uplift AT&T it's not going to work with me.
