Hi guys.
Brother in law has a D500, and wanted a BT headset, so I got him one.
The problem is that when it is first switched on and connected, it works fine, but the next call always has the voice transfered to the phone. if he tries to switch it to the headset, it says connecting failed, even though the BT is still connected, and the buttons still control the volume and call.
turn it off and on, and 7/10 it works for the first call again.
I have been scouring the net for info, and found a few with similar problems, all advice being to flash the handset.
I have flashed the handset to the latest firmware, but the problem still exists.
The BT headset works fine with my SE P990i
does anyone have an answer?
Thanks in advance, John

Hi, Yes i have had an Bluetooth Headset and it didn't work properly at the starting. You have to access it through your phone and configure the settings to allow it to 'Call'. Set it how you want. Don't keep fiddling with the volume or it blows the speaker of it. I've managed to get my 3rd one working as the first two broke and blew up. D500 isn't really a good phone for the Bluetooh Headset as it takes long to fix the settings and you don't really know what to do. I hope that helps you.

Thanks for the reply.
I have checked all the settings available, and all I have is:
disconnect/connect
rename
authorise/deauthorise
delete
delete all
I have tried another 2 different flashes, and the problem remains the same.

Think we are giving up, and replacing the phone.
Thanks to all concerned.
