I am looking at a few phones from Cingular/ATT however none of them really have GPS built in. I guess I will have to buy a bluetooth thing that costs $100.00 I saw it at the Cingular/ATT store. If I buy that is there also a fee to use the satellite?
Another question I have is my phone used to say Cingular, now it says ATT. I did not make any changes to the account or nothing, however all the other phones in my family plan still say Cingular. Mine is the only one that changed service provider. Why?

a fee of sorts. you need to subscribe to a service ergo a monthly fee.sorta like your phone. you need a carrier to transport your calls. the subscription connects your device to the service

it's 9.99 for unlimited routes or 5.99 for ten routes per month. so yeah, it is a monthly fee. on www.telenav.com, you can also prepay a year in advance for 99.00. the only devices that have GPS built in are the blackberry 8800 or any HP device. all others would require the bluetooth adapter.
your screen: it's saying att because an update sent over the network to change the alpha tag. it must have only reached your phone. if the other people turn off/on thier phones, it may register att.
