so i bought a blackberry 7250 off of ebay for a great price and was wondering how much it would cost to activate it. I'm currently in the middle of a 2 year contract and would just be switching to the new phone and not breaking the contract
thanks for the help!

just swaping equipment wont cost you anything, they mandatory data pkg will, however.
Blackberrys require at least the $24.99/10MB data pkg (with $44.99 unlim MB also available)

I too recently purchaced a 7250 off ebay and was wondering if there is any possibility to activate it without changing my service plan at all (not adding data or switching to prepaid). I just want to use it for voice and text.
Is there a mandatory data package?
