Hey,
I am very frustrated by customers calling in a saying that htey are getting dropped calls--especially in metro areas like Seattle or San Francisco. I send the OTAs thru Telegence and send the Single Push thru CARD. There is never really any guarantees that these work. I just feel like telling the customers to get their contract and read the print where it goes over letting them know that AT&T cannot guarantee coverage at any given location on any given day. They need to understand that it is wireless service they are dealing with.
It just pisses me off.
I just start to giggle when the customers start cussing me out when they get all these 'dropped calls' and want to switch carriers.
Any others out there going thru the same thing?

yup and for years that complaint has been the daily standard. I'm willing to bet **all** carriers as a whole are facing the same complaint.
in a lot of cases (in my experience) the phone hasnt been power cycled in weeks/months or is defective.
