Hello,
Since a couple of days ago I have not been able to use my nokia 6103. There is a headset icon in the center, but I have nothing plugged in. If I try to search for wireless devices, it says "disconnect wired enhancement first". If I try and make a call, I can't hear and they can't hear me, I assume because it's trying to route audio to a headset but it's not there. What can I do? I see nothing in the settings for disconnecting any wired devices. There doesn't appear to be anything in the slot where a wired headset would go. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cory

If everything's backed up, perhaps you can try the "reset to factory settings".

Do you have a headset? If so try plugging it in and then disconnecting it.

I can't reset my settings, it asks for a code (which I'm pretty sure I never set) and I can't figure out what it is.
I do have a wired headset, and the phone works if I plug it in (through the headset) but when I take it out, about three seconds later the headset icon appears again and the phone won't work.

Standard security code is either one of these:
00000
12345
If I recall correctly.

Well, I reset the settings just fine. still has the same problem though. Nokia emailed me back and said that it must be damage to the connector area, and physical damage is not covered under their 1 year warranty. My only hope I guess is to see if T-mobile will cover it, other wise I'm going to have to pay to get it fixed (or get a new phone . )

Look where the headset connects, one of the brass pieces are sticking together telling the phone that the earpiece is connected, or something is interfering such as a piece of dirt or something metalic. Take the battery out and rub the connection with rubbing alchohol (99%) and make sure they are seperated. Wait a couple of hours and try it.

I tried all of the above and none of it worked. Then I called TMobile and she suggested I do a "hard power cycle": you keep the phone on, and take the battery out. Then put the battery back in and turn the phone back on. The icon is gone and it's working fine now. Good luck.

I have tried everything you guys listed above. I even called my wireless carrier. They told me to do a master reset and gave me the puk code. Unfortunantly, I cant get it to prompt and ask me the code to reset it. Does anyone know what I can do to fix my phone?
