A friend of mine recently moved to Europe. She has a t-mobile cellphone and I do as well. If I called her, would it be considered tmobile to tmobile or would it be long distance?

It is considered just that. The european versions of tmobile are all considered seperate companies from tmobile usa, they just happen to all be owned by the same parent company.
