Nobody read the agreement? You can read it online!
Sprint can cancell the account of the customer if he or she uses profanity with a CSR, this is not an usual practice, but is specified in your contract. There is no a limit of calls (They are not 25) but if the customer is complaining using profanity and the call is escallated with a supervisor, the account can be cancelled and the customer would need to pay $200 ETF.
I repeat, these are very rare cases.

Sprint announced that last summer they would terminate service on their 'trouble' customers and identified them as customers who'd placed more then 25 calls to customer service inside of a month. I believe this was a one time shot, not a policy or something in the contract.

I am about ready to explode! I have been with sprint for about 4 years now. Without realizing it, when I replaced my phone last year, I entered into a new contract. Right now, I am willing to pay to break it! Which I told a c/s rep today. If you are a week late with a payment, your service is shut off. ( my Mom is with Verizon and has had 1500$ bills because we call my son in law in Iraq. Not once has anyone even contacted her about the bill let alone turn her service off! ) IF and WHEN you get a c/s rep that speaks and understands English, they are normally very accomidating for the moment! Two weeks ago, I called to make arrangments to pay my bill off. No problems, spoke to a supervisor .the whole nine yards. 3 days later, ( after a payment was made! ) my phone is off again! Called, within an hour, phone back on. Yesterday? Phone is off yet again! Do there people talk to each other? When I called the last time, the woman (?) that I spoke to actually called me a liar! Emailed them today, TURN SERVICE OFF! I tried to get into my account on line? When your service is off, you cannot access your account on line! Please explain to me what sense that makes?! How do you pay your bill etc? I will get myself one of those "throw aways"! No contracts, no bills and NO SPRINT!

When you get a new phone, unless you paid full price, you renewed your contract. I am sorry that you are having problems with Sprint, most of the foriegners you speak to are emergency outsourced call centers, as such, they aren't of the best quality. (Not because they're foreign, but because they seem to lack training.) If you use the phone a lot I would not recommend going to a prepaid service, as they really do cost more for those who use the phone a lot. I would suggest first looking into Alltel if they're available in the area, I've never spoken to a foreigner, and every time I call my problem is resolved, or question is answered, often times without even being put on hold. If they are not available in the area I would recommend Verizon. If Sprint worked good in your area, either of these will likely work just as good, and both companies have extremely high marks for customer service.
Sprint is starting to eliminate outsourced call centers like that. they only had them while the billing system merge was taking place, and yes i won't lie it too them a painful 2 plus years, but they are almost done and they are eliminating the emergency call centers thank god.

No kidding, they lost more business due to those then any other reason over the last two years. The harm done is really incalcuable. Sprint was a close third when the merge happened. Now they are distant, it'll be hard to get those customers back without something above and beyond.
Hopefully QChat And WiMax Brings In Alot Of Business Accounts.

QChat was actually designed to maintain business accounts as attrition leads people away from IDen to CDMA technology. WiMax on the other hand may pull in a lot of data users.

WiMax Top Speeds Now Reaching 70 Megs And Climbing Fast. They Better Start Upgrading Thier BackBones. If They Can Achieve Even Half That Speed, They Become Strong Competition For LandLine ISP

I would switch, my connection is DSL, and it sucks, and costs quite a lot.
