I am trying to put music on my mp3 player on my new phone, but when i try to drag the mp3 files into the folder on the memory card that came with the phone it says that the folder cannot be modified. I have a Mac so maybe is that the problem? Sorry, I'm not very technical so i may not be able to explain this well enough

Check the folder is able to be modified. Somewhere in "Properties". But that's on a Windows PC.
Try it on a PC with Windows (I prefer XP or Vista)

yeah i dont have a computer with windows but i guess i could try a friend's. is there any way to get music on my phone with my mac though?

marywallace, I was curious how you solved your problem with loading music on your phone? I have a iMac and iTunes and want to load music. Please share your information if possible.
