Hi,
Does anyone have experience with Nokia 5300 if it works in India. Any advantage to having a quad band against triband. In countries like USA, India which have only specific frequencies? Thanks

My 6230i tri band works througought Asia with the exception of Sth Korea. No problem in India

A lot of service providers in India use the 900 MHz band. You would need to find a service provider that supports the 1800 MHz band for most tri-band phones purchased in the US.
