ok i just got a new sidekick 3 but i wanna set my email so that i get emails striaght from my aol account.i need to know what the protocol, mail server and port number is.can somebody please help me out!

There is a free application the the catalog called aol mail. Download it and give it a try.

If you are using the free aol web mail, you most likely won't be able to get it set up on a sidekick. You need to go into aol support and search for email settings. I'd imagine its a pop based protocol, but I don't know its exact address. Your in the right place of you see something like looks like pop.aolmail.com as a setting. Once you have that, go to the sk's email client, settings, accounts and input that info to create the new account.

I just set it up on my new SK3 the mail server is imap.aol.com and the port is 143. Thanks
