as i recall someone telling me.the chocolate 8500 does have speaker phone.i believe you have to push the camera button. i had it before and right when i was trading it in for my new chocolate.they told me.so try it and let me know if i'm right.

hey i was just wonderin.i have a chocolat flip too its a 8600 and i was wondering if u new how to activate speakerphone on it, i tried the camera button but it just says not avaiable during conversation, and then i tried the buttom below it and then it just begins to record my conversation. do u have any idea how to activate speaker phone on my chocolate?

i really want to say it is one of the side buttons on the flip part.i can't remember which one it is. if i had the phone in front of me i could tell ya. but while your in a call just try pushing and holding one of them.or when your ina call try pushing the options button to see if its in there.
