if you have problems loading songs onto the vx8550, put them into the sounds folder, brew/mod/18067 then move them to your music folder on the phone.

the service menu s used to change certian settings on your phone. some use it for GPS coordinates, madifying WAP settings so as to bypass te 2 dollar/MB deal, and some use it to change their network settings so as to escape draining their battery with unnessesary EVDO service. BUT noone should ever change anything back there if they don't know what they are doing. It is very easy to brick your phone.

I was trying to see if I could set the music MP3s to ringtone, and I came across this site. The problem is, I can't seem to send an MP3 as partt of a picture or text message, I can only add music or sounds from the My Sounds category (such as Train, Rainforest, Ode_to_Joy). Are these tips for the Chocolate 3 only, and is there any way to set an MP3 song to the ringtone on the LG Chocolate VX8550 ?
