i just got the new chocolate 8550.and i know there is more to it than the looks.like the bluetooth transfer data stuff, how do you do that. or how do i get into the secret menu that the carriers know how to get into. on other lg phone you push menu and then 0. so anybody wanna tell me whats so cool about this phoen.i am kinda disappointed. make me optomistic about this phone.so i didn't waste my money.

to get into the secret menu on the LG VX8550 you have to press ##77647268550, then send, and then enter all the 0s

What I just found that was cool was the VZW Song ID feature under getitnow/music&tones/getnewringtones.

That ish ROCKS!

I found it to be really cool that when someone TXT messages you a ringtone/song you are able to select to save as ringtone and set it right away to either a ringtone, alert, or personal id, or save it as a sound to your phone in your library.
