I was thinking of switching to t-mobile for the wifi call option. Do I need to have t-mobile wifi, or can i configure my phone to work with my wireless router?
How much does the service cost?
Cincinnati Bell has $10 for the service, and claim it will work with any free wifi, or where I have the password.

Tmobiles services works with any wifi signal you can access, and they will provide you with a wifi router if you need 1. Theirs is supposdly optimized for the service. It is 9.99/month for unlimited wifi calling. On sept 12 (or around then) if you do not have wifi calling on your account, the price will jump to 19.99/month.

Internet will cost nothing, messaging will either pull from your bucket or charge you.

Hey. I'm an RSR for T-Mobile. For a family plan, it is 19.99 for all lines to have access to Hotspot@Home feature. That is for all FT phones up to 5 lines. The advantage is that you can also call over the WiFi networks in select Starbucks, Borders, and airports, as well as any other locations that offer a T-Mobile WiFi hotspot, which is something you would normally have to pay to use if you did not have this service added to your phone line.

Hey, thanks Grinded. How do I make my home a hot spot? Does it require T-Mobile internet service? Can I used it through other routers where I have wifi access?

To make your house a hotspot@home you need broadband internet access and a wireless router. Tmobile will provide you with an optimized wireless router for the hotspot@home service, but any router that is on the proper technology (I forget if its using 802.11b or g) will work.
