Hi i just got a music essentials kit form verizon today by mail.. i have the new lg chocolate.. i really didn't need to buy the kit cuz my computer has a micro sd slot so everytime i try to drag and drop the music from my library to my memory card it keeps coming up write-protected.. How can I get rid of that so i can keep putting songs on it??? someone help please lol [/b]

I think the best thing to do since you allready bought the music essentials kit is to connect the phone to the pc and transfer music.
with this you can use windows media player 11, the Vcast music manager which should have came with the kit or you can use bitpim. you can get bitpim at www.bitpim.com and there should be an update for you to download also so it can recognize the vx8550. with this you can also transfer custom ringtones, get pics and videos from phone, save phonebook, ect. that would be my best advice. there might however be another way which im not sure of. hope this helps.

I was just wondering if it is possible to sync videos to your VX8550. I have a 2GB MicroSD card inserted in there, and I have the USB to connect it to the computer. Thanks!
