Find out if you are eligable for an upgrade by talking to customer, then u have three choices. 1, go to a store. 2, upgrade online. 3, call customer service for the upgrade.

You can upgrade almost anytime you want to, but it depends on when your last upgrade was when it comes to the price of the new phone. You may have to pay close to full retail to make the upgrade if you just got a new phone.

i'm not 100% sure on this but i think you can upgrade as many times as you want, but the problem is, you will have to go with tmobile for another 2 years.
like if you got a phone today and then 5 months from now saw something new you wanted, they'd probably let you get it, but you'd have to renew your plan for another 2 years, so you'd be stuck with tmobile for 4 years, and say after you get that second phone a few months pass and you see something else, renew for another 2 years to get it at the best price.be with tmobile for a 6 yr contract.
they may limit it though. just do it online its easier than dealing with the scumbags at the tmobile store.

There is an upgrade limit, even if you don't do a contract extension. I believe its something small like 30 days though. Basically though, if your willing to pay for a phone, tmobile will allow you to upgrade for a higher price than a new customer gets.

You can get a better price depending on how long the extension was on your last upgrade, if you had a one year extension for an upgrade you can upgrade with a full discount after 11 months, or if it was a 2 year extension you can get a full discount after 22 months. If its your first upgrade the closer it is to the end of your contract the better the discount you can get I believe. And I'd check with a Wal mart if you can you can get discount upgrades there and sometimes they have a better deal then going directly to Tmobile. Well its been two years since my wife did that but I think it is still the same, thats what I plan on doing at the end of the month when I can get full discount.
