Hey all,

My Motorolla Razr just stop working yesterday. It was working fine, then I powered it off normally for a couple of hours (airplane travel) and it would not turn back on. It also does not recognize beign charged. Also, the keypad stays on forever, without going off unless the battery is not in.

I have never plugged it into my PC to change it, and never modded it whatsoever. I do not use aftermarket batteries or chargers.

The water mark check under the battery is white, so all is good there.

Please assist in any way you can, it would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

Try removing the battery for around 10 mins then replace battery and plug into charger and leave it for several hours

I'm having the same problem and the battery trick doesn't work for me. My phone doesn't seem to be picking up a charge from any of my three chargers.

Moisture can still get in a phone while avoiding the indicators, I fix them for a living and I see this a lot.

If you are up to it, take it apart and check under the dome sheet assembly (the white sticker that holds the actual buttons onto the board).

Be carefull though, instant warranty void and possibly further damage.

I would take it back to your provider to see if a repair can be done, they would be able to check the internal moisture indicators.

I bought it off of ebay brand new. It was working fine except for getting the 413 error in the browser. I kept trying to adjust the internet and when I selected a different profile, it just shut off. Now it won't turn on at all.
