So after spending a weekend with my friend and his BlackJack I seriously decided I need to get a Smartphone/etc.
I am on Verizon and have a very slim chance of switching.
I have a few requirements and you guys tell me what I should get.
3G is a must. His speed on his BJ was pretty crazy
Ability to teather, via bluetooth or USB
QWERTY
And that's about it.
Help me out guys!

If I were u I would wait until the middle or later part of August. There is a few new smart phones coming out then. No dates are officially being released but looks like this month.

I can't comment officially on anything, but do a search on the Moto Q9. Very similar to BJ, with a lot more functionality. This phone again is not released yet, but rumors would indicate a release date in August. That's when ATT is going to release their pda phones.

Please help me compare Verizon smart phones for an iMac:
I am looking at the Blackberry 8830 with Pocketmac versus the Palm Treo 755P. Are there any other better choices with the big V for a macuser?

I would suggest the blackberry 8830, however you will need a data plan with any smartphone. And the 8830 dosn't have a camera. Stay away from motorola and palm. there are many known issues with them and you will be trading them in left and right.

the LG Voyager is NOT a smart phone.
I would suggest one of verizon's blackberrys. Either the 8830 or 8130 (pearl) are both great devices and do everything you asked for.
