Restoring SEEM for Motorola RAZR V3i

I am novice in SEEM editing.

I was trying to change the SEEM 0032_0001 for V3i so as to store SMS to phone memory. But it went awry.
I am using P2kMan and SeemChanger2 i found from the seem tutorial.

Seem Changer2 looks different from the one shown in the tutorial.
I took the backup of original seem then in Seem Changer2 i clicked restore seem and selected the seem 2 be edited. After changing the parameters as suggested i clicked backup seem and then from P2kMan i uploaded but it threw some error and after that most of the things have vanished from my moto

I have the backup of original seem. But p2kMan is not recognizing the V3i now

P2kMan is not able to detect my phone and i am unable to restore the original seem. Plz help me.

Make sure the phone is in data/fax mode

The follow the instructions in getting connected thread again - i.e. run the driver install program on clean and reinstall.

You don't need p2kman when you are using SEEM Changer 2 - version 2 has the p2k integrated and you are editing the SEEMs on the phone directly.

I dont find any name of V3i coming in the latest seem changer2.

When i click on Read offset it throws error Seem not found.

but i typed in 40 and selected 60 & 0 &
when i click on the Set Bit ->unexpected Error:Type mismatch.

When i try to restore the seem from Restore seem (from the original seem that i had taken the backup of using P2kMan)

I have tried installing the USB drivers as well. But i am unable to restore/change.

In my mobile very few things are shown. It will be great if you can let me know from where i can restore the software/SEEM. any workaround to have my V3i working again. Now i can only receive calls

It sounds like the p2k drivers are not connecting. You won't be able to restore anything until you can get it connected.

Worst case is you flash a flex or monsterpack but you still need to get the drivers working.

Have you run the driver install program on clean and reinstall?

I have run the Clean/Reinstall but after pluggin in the moto, i am not getting the new hardware found wizard. You have mentioned about RSD Lite. I am looking on net to find it and download. but will this help?

I found P2k drivers for WIN-XP on Maxed mobiles. in download section. Will that be helpful?

Recently i observed that. therez no P2k coming in the log. when i run clean n Reinstall.:O

Is the phone definitely in data/fax mode?

How do i check it.? it installs the Moto USB Modem!
