Hi,
I am on Verizon and they must have some of the worst phones ever to choose from. I have a Sony Ericsson T610 (great phone) from my former T-Mobile days. My question is, can I somehow get the T610 to work on Verizon? If so, what do I have to do?

No, because that phone is GSM phone and Verizon is CDMA. It is like trying to plug electric plug to gas bottle

tmobile and verizon use totally different technologies. VZW is CDMA (no sim) and Tmobile is gsm (sim)

Verizon has the best phones overall of all carriers. They have the chocolate and EnV phones along with the lg vx9400. I don't know what more u can ask for. I'll be the first to admit their pdas are a bit lacking as of today though.

I hope google can change things also, but I'm sure they won't. The USA does a lot of things differently compared to other countries. Some are better and some are worse than other countries. GOOGLE will have a minimal impact in the USA but I'm sure they will have a big impact overseas where the market is already opened up so much either way.

Google just bough right to 700 mhz spectrum. and they say anyone who wants to use it must use open system. i believe it will change, cos US governments supports it.

I don't think so, they say they will let use some spectrum but only if system will be open.
