Alright, here's the deal. I have the e815 right now and my new every 2 is coming up. I am trying to decide on what to get for a new phone. I have been kinda interested in the LG VX8700 and the krzr. Can any of you please give me some opinions on these phone and possibly any other one's you might suggest? I appreciate any and all opinions.
Thanks bunches!
Lisa

I suggest the 8600. From my experiences with both the krzr looks better and gets a tad bit of better reception, but doesn't have the same functionality as the 8600/ The 8600 allows you to view txt msgs with the flip closed which is my favorite feature. The krzr is alright, but motorola just doesn't make a reliable phone anymore, imo. Go with the reliable quality product in the lg vx 8600

GO LG. Anything from motorla with a 'zr' in the title is guaranteed to be a giant piece of shit.
Let it be known that I hate the verizon operating system.

Thanks for the replies. But they do not have the 8600 at the store anymore. They told me they stop selling that one. I was looking at the 8700. I've heard/read that about the krzr that past couple days, so I think I will be staying away from that one.
I know everyone hates verizon, but I really don't know who else to go with since that is all I have ever had. They also give me a gov. employee discount, which is nice. Don't know if they other do the same (probably).

be sure to use your employee discount and get your employee price on your new phone. They prices are sometime a lot lower than without the discount. Have you looked at the lg vx-9400. IMO a great phone.

Thank you. I ended up going today and just saying screw it and went with 8700. I figured I have 30 days so what the hell. The 9400 is one of the phones I was playing with both times I was in the store check the phones out. I did like it, but I really didn't see the need for it. I did have the sales guy check on prices with the gov. discount. It was cheaper with the new every two deal. But I didn't know I get the discount on the accessories. Well thanks everyone for the info. I will see how this goes. Not a bad phone so far.

I have had a rzr for just over a year, but it's starting to P me off, I have freinds who have been through three of them ( all stop working before warranty expires so Verizon keeps replacing them and none of them have been dropped. My friends rzr had several numbers on the keypad just stop working one day. Mine has a delay, you push a button for something and it takes several seconds for my phone to make up it's miind to do it.
Am also having txt problems with it too.

Go to the store and get a software upgrade. Normally resolves your issues with the delay along with other software bugs.

hmmm. I don't like the krzr or the other 1 becuz they're wannabe razrs. why dont u just get the normal razr? also, i have a chocolate and i LOVE it. the only thing is that it's really touch sensative, which can be annyoing, but I still like it.
