Yesterday i got my phone out of water after it was dropped by my lil sis. I took it out, dried it by hairdryer and then put the battery on, cell was working then, now today when i opened my mobile, everything is working, signal sound is being produced, whatever button i press on he keypad it press and hold 6, only cancel button is working properly, what should I do now?rather than throwing my mob to junk box.

Turn the phone off and strip it down, ensure everything is totally dry. Alternatively remove the battery and leave it in a dry place for a lengthy period (maybe couple of weeks!) before powering on again.
Water in itself won't damage the phone but water and power don't mix!
Drying the phone is preferable as corrosion is also a problem

Thanx for the reply but im completely sure that it is dried. I dried it with hair dryer, then put it whole day in sunlight.and then i put it on again, when i put it on first, whole keypad was working properly but when I restarted it only screen turns on, gives sound.
Im sending and recieving messages by PC connection, and m recieving calls by the same method, I am calling by the motorola phone tool software, and it's working, mouthpiece earpiece, all the things are working except the keypad, thanx for your reply again.
