Hey.basically I have a Motorola V3X and it is locked to the network 3g.I have been trying to unlock it for a long time by changing the boot loader to 7.D0. I tried to flash it with RSD 2.7, 3.2 and many others.my original boot loader is/was 0.6.7.1. I flashed it with the R374_V3BL_07.D0.shx file and an error came up saying something like "error verifying subscriber unit info. chipset type does not match" so I tried the scotty2 thing also that obviously didn’t work then, I flashed it with various files and the whole interface has changed, I was hoping it would change the boot loader to 7.D0 which I don’t think it did because the unlocking process doesn’t work.then I tried the scooty2 thing which doesn’t work either I tried to check my boot loader that doesn’t work anymore by pressing *# and the turn on button. then I tried the R374_V3BL_07.D0.shx file again and not the error says “internal error wile programming phone” how do I unlock my phone? Please Please help…

Those instructions and files are for the R374. If you had been successful in putting them on the V3x you would have "bricked" it.

Thats V3 not V3x

You can unlock it with testpoint and p2k easy tools - other than that you need hardware device or subsidy code method

Testpoint means stripping the phone and shorting a contact while writing to phone memory

P2k Easy Tools is not the same as P2k Tools, P2k Easy Tools is warez and links are not allowed

Forget all about bootloader 7.D0 - that is nothing to do with V3x

There are several remote unlocking sites that claim to work with the V3x but I can't recommend any personally as I haven't used them
