Sorry if this has been answered on another thread (I've looked but can't find a specific one).

I recently got a Samsung E700 on T-Mobile. How can I transfer photos, images, ringtones etc. to and from my PC?

you need an irda (infra red reading device about £18)connected to your pc and...... easy studio which you can get from http://www.samsung.com/Support/productsupport/download/Model_Select.as px?type=Mobile%20Phone&typecode=103010&subtype=GSM&subtypecode=370023& model=SGH-E700&filetype=SW&language=

or basically www.samsung.com not co.uk
support
mobile phone
e700
then you need to click on software tab and not the already selected manual page

Get all 3 zip files. and install them. Dont forget to switch infra red on on your phone when you want to transfer files or talk to the phone. You need to select this manually each time you use the phone as it times out after a min or so. Once connected via irda it should stay connected until you have finished the select infra red off on the phone to save battery.

good luck

Got irda and easy studio. Installed both, but there is no communication between phone and easy studio. The info for infrared function on desktop registers e700 connected ok and that there is communication between pc and phone, but nothing in easy studio and irda times out on phone. I have set easy studio to irda and tried all speed settings, but none have worked (also speed settings on pc). Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?
