I 've looked everywhere for any phone settings on tmobile's website but just could not find any. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. thank you in advance

Both of you should be able to use the auto settings at support.t-mobile.com. Just pick a phone that's the same brand as yours (ex moto, nokia) and send the message with the settings to yourself. I've had some success with this even with non tmo phones.

It was a 50/50 shot it was going to work. Sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. What kind of phone do you have? Do you know how to access its settings or not? (Browser and messaging settings)
