is it possible to have different ringtones for different callers?
and can i use one of my own sounds for a message tone?
or am i stuck with 1 tone for everyone and the message tones they give me?
and this last one may seem like a dumb question but
do i get charged money if i am connected to the gprs network (because tzones is run through gprs if i'm correct)? or will i only be charged if i am connected and browsing the internet?

yes, its possible to do so. on each contract, you click on menu and edit there you can change message tone, name and so on. you will see ring tone. good luck!

Ok. so i have the enV now obviously. but before i had another LG phone. on that phone u could set specific ringtones AND MESSAGE tones for each person. on the enVs however u can only set the ringtones for each person. does anyone else notice that or am i just stupid? is there anyway that u can change the message tones also?
when u go under the contacts and edit a certain contact, u can only change the ringtone. as far as i can see there is no way to have specific message tones for each person. maybe i'm just S.O.L.?
any help would greatly appreciated! thanks!

so the first part of this string at least helped me to advance to the next step. but now, when i go in to select the ring tone for the individual person, the files that i've uploaded all come in gray - meaning that they play on the preview screen, but i am not able to actually select them. could this be a result of their format, mp4? what were the formats of the files that you loaded that you were able to select?
thanks
