i have got mobimb v1.2 and i have connected my phone from a data cable.
but my pc doesent reconise my phone but my phone reconise the pc.
wen i click on connections and add the connection DLR-3 an icon appears on my phone but the mobi mb doesent detect my phone.
plz help meeeeeeeeeeee
this is the data cable wat i have.

1. MobiMB is not meant to be used with the Nokia 3650. Can be seen in the compatibility list.

2. Only Nokia PC suite for Nokia 3650 or Oxygen Phonemanager for Symbian OS Phones works with the Nokia 3650.
Most people recommend the PC Suite because it's better than the OPM for Symbian OS Phones.
And Nokia PC Suite doesn't work with cheap datacables. Only with IR, Bluetooth or the DKU-5 Cable (which is not ment to be used with the 3650)

well wen i buyed it it says to be used with mobi mb.
and wat is symbian phones.

Symbian OS Phones are Phones like the Nokia 3650.
Lets compare it with a computer:
Normal Phones have only firmware, a kind of BIOS. The only have a minmum of thinks they can do.
Smart Phones like the Nokia 3650 have Symbian OS, it's like Windows. You can do many thinks with Symbian OS... watch movies, listen to musik...
And about the cable: normally third-party cables like yours are ment to be used with MobiMB, because Nokia PC Suite doesn't supports them.
But in this case, the phone and the software won't work together.

For example, the 7650, 3650, nGage and 6600 (the whole 60 series) are working under Symbian OS. It's an Operating System (OS...) wich permit you to have more, and complete fonctions.
Just like for your PC, Windows or Linux (.Be OS and the others...) permit you to "manage" your computer
Generally, with Symbian phones, you can do a remote control, play MP3's, take photos, videos, etc...
With Symbian OS, it's not a phone, it's a little computer!

ok i have got wat symian means.
but my phone still doesent connect to mobimb or oxygen phone manerger using that data cable, wen i connect it the screen just flickers and a headphone sign come in the corner of my phone thats it.

They already said that the cable your trying to use, nokia never intended for it to work. Your using a cable not meant to be used by factory!
