I am trying to transfer some ringtones from my phone to my computer via the USB cable. Unfortunately the ones that I want are not showing up on the list of audio files on my phone. I checked and a little icon that looks like a lock appears next to most of the files, all of which do not show up for file transfer. Is there anyway to either unlock the files, or transfer them anyway. Thanks!

I installed the motorola phone tools yesterday and it was working fine. I tried p2kman today and it was not finding the phone. I tried to use MPT again and it also cannot find the phone. When I plug it in, it comes as three things in the found new hardware window: motorola accessory, motorola mcu data logger, motorola test command. Yesterday the found new hardware just found it as V220. Do you know what happened over night?

I installed some drivers and now the computer recognizes the phone as the v220 but I still cannot get p2kman to. It keeps saying phone not connected. I have never used one of these programs before; am I missing anything?

OK. It now connected and I unlocked the file and I copied it to my computer. The plot thickens as now it is not playable by anything and it appears to be a corrupt file. It still plays on my phone though. It is an mp3. Any other suggestions? I appreciate your help.
