hi i js got hired at fido. i have little.actually i have no experience with wireless sales at all. I am quite nervous but excited. Im not entirely sure why i was hired considering i have no experience and everything. My question is who had no experience before being csr and got hired and now doing well? What were some of the hard things learning? Any tips?
Thanks

I just got hired a little over 3 weeks ago at T-Mobile and I absolutely love it there now. I have had little to no sales experience and no cell phone sales experience at all.
My suggestion is to read up on everything there is. Ask questions like crazy. Shadow people and watch them do transactions all the time and even ask questions while they are doing it. They should have no problem helping you at all. Triple check everything you do. Try to form really good habits at the job like getting there 10 minutes early, keeping organized, etc. Also ask someone (your assistant manager or manager) for a sample of a SHOP. This is a survey done once a month to ensure the store is doing a great job.
Other than that, work hard and have fun.

Just don't be sound too nervous and just make a regular conversion with your customers.
Never argue with your customers I guess not until you get familiarize with your product at least.

I started as a CSR 2 years ago with no call center or real customer service experience of any kind. Today I am in an upper management position with a major North American cellular service provider. Tips. pay attention during training, ask for help when you need it and try to do the best job you can on a daily basis! Remember always try to provide the best possible customer service experience that you can on every call! The disgruntled CSR's who just show up for a pay check, hang up on customers and frankly dont care tend to burn out faster and tend to be stuck on the phones a lot longer than the good employee!
