The Upstage would be the worst choice of the three, poor battery life without the battery wallet it comes with, poor signal with the battery wallet on it, and the need to flip your phone over repeatedly to do most things.

Actually LG, in my experience, is not the that impressive for it's reception, and from what I've read, is no breakthrough for mp3 phones either. Sanyo generally has been good in signal, and one of the top cell phone manufacturers, according to JDPowers and Associates. I've read that Sanyo is looking to sell it's mobile division for lack of profitability. Ironic, it's the only thing Sanyo makes that is even close to decent. I wouldn't let an impending sale stop me from getting on of thier phones, although I would look carefully at any models that come out after this year.

Tomorrow, the new razr, v9m, is coming out. I'm getting this one. It has a 2 inch screen on the outside screen and the inside one is 2.2

True, but they are asking about Sprint, not Verizon.

I have the Sanyo Katana(regular model) and my reception is good(the only place i can't get service is in Wegmans and some elevators other than that i receive reception every where else. I plan on switching to the DLX also cause of the design and music capability. But as far as reception i say Sanyo i have never has a problem with their service.

Sanyo is usually quite good for reception. Features wise, all Sprint phones use the same operating system, so I wouldn't look for any breakthroughs there.

On a side note, Kyocera is about to buy Sanyo, so any current models should be good, any new models that come out you may want to keep your eyes on.

Another side note, the V9M RAZR 2 is now available for Sprint and it's signal is quite good, although the battery capacity is a bit meager.

If you are looking for good reception get Katana DLX, if you are looking for ok receptions with ALOT of features get the Muziq. I have the Muziq and it is awesome!

The muziq might be a lilttle more fun because it has a few more features. LG's have Okay reception.

For Muziq you can actually hear Muziq while you are working, if you get the Katana, I believe you can't hear it while you are working. PLUS in Muziq you can set videos as your screen saver.
