Apparently the only way to do it was to use a memory card reader. It works though!

I had the EXACT problem you are describing!
I know exactly how to fix it as well!
Go to the verizon store and tell the guy there "i cant access my memory card" he will dick with it for a few minutes and say "i dont see a problem" and it will work fine after that.
i know this isnt exactly what you want to hear, but it is a 100% fix.
OR you can call tec support. but no1 wants to sit through that BS
i hope you get your shit fixed

i got myself a copy of Motorola Phone Tools and used that to send several types of files to my L7c. I believe this would work for you as well.
